This podcast came from a desire to rekindle dialogue in a country where people seem to fear speaking to each other civilly about important issues. News media outlets, whether liberal or conservative, find their headquarters in big cities, and as such it’s the small towns and the people who live there whose voices get overlooked.

They’re not entirely ignored, but it would be a mistake to say people are listening to them. Listening may not fix all our country’s problems, but it’s certainly the first step. Hopefully this podcast can be one of those first steps.

To any and all listeners, whether you live in a big city, a suburban neighborhood, or a small town, remember this is a dialogue, not a monologue. Join the conversation, open your ears and build bridges instead of burning them.
